National joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrainy seeks in May to repay a revolving loan of $300 million issued by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and later to repeatedly take funds, Naftogaz Head Andriy Kobolev has said.
“We’ve paid $10 million… in May we will pay it in full for sure,” he told reporters in Kyiv on Wednesday.
Kobolev said that there is no need to sign new agreements to take the loan again.
“The agreement has been signed. There is no need to re-sign it. The new disbursement of the same credit line will be made. Gas purchase could be organized by the third quarter,” he said.
He added that the sum repeatedly raised could be the same or larger. (interfax.com.ua)
